Stellar Hop is an offline constellation solitaire where you clear sixty card layouts by hopping one rank up or down.
Information collected
None. The game has no account, no sign-in and no forms that leave the device. The only thing you can type is an optional display name for your in-game profile card, and it is stored on your phone only.
Local storage
Kept in OS-level local storage on your device, never uploaded:
- Campaign progress: best score and stars per level, levels played, your longest hop chain, and a resumable save of the level in progress.
- Motes balance (the in-game currency, earned only by playing; there is no real-money purchase), lifetime total, and the daily-reward streak with the date of the last claim.
- Permanent upgrade tiers you have bought with Motes.
- Unlocked achievements, plus the display name and badge you picked for your profile card.
- Options: mark playable cards, large rank glyphs, left-handed rail, reduced flash, and whether you have already seen the intro slides.
Uninstalling the app deletes every byte.
Permissions
The app asks for no runtime permissions: no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications. The Android build declares the standard INTERNET permission that ships with every Flutter template. It is a normal (non-dangerous) permission, it is never shown as a prompt, and the game does not use it.
Network
Fully offline. The game makes no network requests. Levels are generated on the device, and nothing you do in the game is sent anywhere. It plays the same in airplane mode.
Third parties
No third-party SDKs are integrated: no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, attribution or in-app billing libraries. The app uses the open-source Flutter framework plus local storage (Hive) and state-management libraries that run entirely on your device.
Children
Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K) either. There are no ads, chat or links out of the app.
Your rights
All data lives on your device and you control it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android Settings, deletes everything permanently. There is nothing held on a server for us to export or delete. Questions go to the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes are also noted in the app's release notes.
